Dr. Lolly de Jonge

Executive Producer

Dr. Lolly is the Chief Executive Officer of IndigeKin Productions, a 100%-owned Indigenous media arts production company. She is an accomplished Indigenous producer of television, film, music and podcast projects. With decades of executive management experience, she was named in the 2016 Diversity 50 by the Canadian Board Diversity Council. Dr. Lolly is also a prolific writer and editor in a number of genres. Her television series Transformation to Parenthood, which she hosted, was broadcasted for two years on television.

Dan Gretton

Technical Producer

Daniel has over a decade of experience in the media industry. He provides location sound services on documentaries, films, web series, corporate videos and television series. He is a graduate of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology's Film and Video Production program. Dan's work has been broadcast on-air, on the web, and at private screenings and festivals.

Therese 'Tag' Goulet

Producer

Tag is an Indigenous producer with credits on over 100 independent films, including several from Santa Monica College's film production program. Her credited films screened at the 2021 and 2022 Cannes Film Festivals, are long-listed for a 2021 British Film Academy Award (BAFTA), and are the Crystal Bear Award winner at the 2020 Berlin International Film Festival. In 2022, IMDbPro named Tag a female producer to watch in the Indie genre.

Tarek Nemr is the co-owner, director, and curator at the Bluerock Gallery in Diamond Valley. He has extensive experience in retail, tourism, and marketing. He is the chair of Diamond Valley Economic Development, a member of the Foothills Local Regional Partnership, and an active participant in The Most Beautiful Art Tour in Alberta. Tarek, an art dealer in Alberta, has also managed businesses internationally, reflecting his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to fostering global economic connections.

Terez has done marketing and branding across industries including insurance, film, music, technology and more. Terez’s impressive figures include organically generating over 2,000,000 views on a single video for one of her clients, and organically growing another's audience by over 100,000 in less than 6 months. Terez is also a Métis pop singer with a fanbase of over 130K followers.

Nauzanin Knight

Director

is a Canadian of Caribbean and Middle Eastern descent. She completed her MSc at University College London and is the executive producer at 1844 Studios. She has written, directed and produced films including #SHADESOFWORTH, My Lyric I Never Knew, From the Grassroots, and Precarity. Nauzanin is an alum of Women in the Director’s Chair, Whistler Film Festival Doc Lab, and Banff Spark Accelerator for Women in the Business of Media. She is a member of the diversity and inclusion committee of Women in Film and Television Alberta and facilitated the digital storytelling workshop series Empowering Black Girls (EBG).

Sylvester is an award-winning filmmaker with over 10 years of industry experience producing documentaries, short films and TV shows. He was selected as one of only 15 filmmakers to participate in the Alberta Accelerated Producer's Program where he was mentored by Executives from Warner Brothers and Entertainment One. In 2022, Sylvester was selected by NETFLIX for its Diversity of Voices program at the Banff World Media Festival. His passion is to tell stories that help people connect to each other on a deeper and more meaningful level.

Andrew Jenkins

Consulting Producer

Andrew has nearly two decades of experience in the international film industry working on films from independent shorts to Hollywood blockbusters. An award-winning film producer and production company board member, Andrew has overseen the financing, production and acquisition of a feature film, which premiered at the Cinequest Film Festival and screened at the Cannes Film Market, before it got sold and released around the globe.

Hal Eagletail is a member of the Northern Dene Tsuut’ina Nation, residential school survivor, Knowledge Keeper and Cultural Advisor. He has been a film liaison for three decades and is also a Master of Ceremonies for First Nation Pow Wows and Round Dance celebrations across North America. Hal specializes in bridging the gap between industry, business and government with First Nations culture, spirituality, herbal health care and the environment.

    Kylee is a media personality turned full-time content creator and event host with a focus on the 2SLGBTQ+ community. She has expertise in social media trends, brand growth and social media strategy. Kylee has worked with local and international brands. Her broadcasting experience includes being an on-air personality, host, correspondent and voice artist across various media.

    Associate Producer

    John, who is a member of the Métis Nation of British Columbia, has a diverse background with an emphasis on governance and developing operational business systems for the corporate, creative and third sectors. He has worked in senior management and has served in executive roles during his career along with volunteer work. Additionally, he is a yoga instructor, having trained under many luminaries in the field.

    George & Terry Goulet

    Elders

    George and Terry are independent Métis historians, best-selling authors, public speakers, and advocates for justice and equal rights for all Indigenous Peoples from sea to sea. They have been advocates for Métis identity in Canada and for the exoneration of early Canadian and Métis politician Louis Riel. George is a retired lawyer and has a Master of Laws degree majoring in constitutional law, and Terry is a retired legal editor of an international legal publishing firm.
