Q. Do I need to be a Canadian citizen?

A. Applicant must reside in Alberta and be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

Q. What is the minimum age to participate in the Sugar Mama TV series?

A. Applicant must be 18 years or older as of May 9, 2024, to participate.

Q. When will I find out if I qualify as a participant?

A. Candidates selected for consideration will be contacted for an interview to be held in mid-February with final casting decisions and notifications a couple of weeks later.

Q. Will I be contacted whether or not I make it to the next round?

A. Only candidates that have been selected will be contacted for an interview.

Q. When will filming take place?

A. Filming for The Sugar Mama (Season 2) is scheduled for mid-May. Successful applicants must be available for the entirety of filming.

Q. Where does the filming take place?

A. Filming will take place in southern Alberta, south of Moh'kins'tsis (Calgary).

Q. Will I be able to use my personal devices (phone, computer, etc.) during filming?

A. Participants will need to be 100% offline from personal devices for the duration of production.

Q. I am unable to upload my video. Are there special requirements?

A. Ensure your video is less than 90 seconds in length, recorded in landscape, and in one of the following formats: mpg, mpeg, mp4, mov, mv4.
